Teaching Micromouse Mechatronics Class
UC Berkeleys MicroMouse Class is one of two classes offered by UCB's IEEE department and is run entirely by students in the IEEE department.
The goal of the Micromouse class is to have students make a small robot to be able to traverse a maze. The students are given the parts necessary for the robot and would have to assemble it themselves. After assembly, the students would make the software necessary to make their robot move, sense its environment, and make decisions for locomotion. I was a mentor to Micromouse teams for a year then became the instructor for a year. |
